Rhys Davies Freight Logistics (RDFL) work in partnership with Aimia Foods and provide them with a comprehensive distribution service across the UK mainland and Ireland. The partnership has been in place for nearly 10 years, and in that time has seen many changes. RDFL have evolved alongside Aimia Foods to satisfy the demands not only of the existing customers, but also the growing demand from their increasing customer base.
 
RDFL have an eight depot privately owned network, that allows Aimia Foods to provide a guaranteed next day service to anywhere in the UK with complete confidence.* RDFL even run vehicles in livery for Aimia Foods, as part of the partnership arrangement.
 
RDFL are a BRC accredited Company, and compliance with the handling and distribution requirements of a food company are at the top of their priority list, as are the key requirements for delivery a high standard of customer service.
 

In the future RDFL and Aimia Foods are looking to develop an even closer working relationship, where both parties work together pro-actively to reduce costs further, whilst seeking to develop and improve the levels of customer service and management reporting.

• Shunt facility to collect stock from end of line on
  just in time basis
• Goods delivered to Aimia warehouse to meet strict
  order and picking timescales
• Provision of inbound goods from outside
  suppliers to Aimia’s warehouse
• Direct link via conveyor to the Aimia Foods
  warehouse
•Consignments are quality checked prior to
  despatch to ensure highest standard of service and
  presentation
• Delivery of goods to customers premises via large
  fleet of specialist tail-lift fitted vehicles.

  development and on-going management of service
