Your role We expect preferred suppliers to demonstrate continual best total value, in other words the best price plus the best combination of:
- Assurance of supply
- R&D / Marketing contribution
- Quality
- Speed to market
- Responsiveness
- Working Capital
- Market Information
- Project / Resource Support
2. Quality & Service
Our goal We recognise the relationship between the quality and service to OUR customers and the service levels from our suppliers. Aligining the supplier quality and service with our customer expectations is key to our business retention and growth. Our measurement of sharing quality and service KPIs to our preferred suppliers will be key to achieving our service and quality goals.
Your role Preferred suppliers will minimise disruption to our business and will offer continual levels of service to exceed KPIs and expectations. On receipt of quality service data we expect our preferred supplier to take approporiate action (when required) to improve service standards.
3. Innovation
Our goal We are seldom satisfied with the current situation and continually challenge ourselves to develop and create new purchasing opportunities that will support our business needs.
Your role Preferred suppliers will identify potential projects for improvement and can demonstrate past examples where success has been delivered to our business.
4. Market Information
Our goal Key to our success is the need to understand market conditions, decisions and actions are taken by considering external influences.
Your role We see the role of our suppliers as critical in the supply of key market information relating to their goods & services. This includes but is not limited to material index; competitor analysis and market overviews. Information sharing will be defined in supply agreements and protected by a mutual confidentiality understanding.
5. Stability
Our goal Profitability & cash flow are key success drivers to our business.
Your role Preferred suppliers work with us to support profitability & cash flow goals, they understand that spend areas that do not deliver a return should be jointly managed to success.
6. Best Practice
Our goal Learn from the experience of others, introducing best practice ideas into our business.
Your role Preferred suppliers share with us best practice experience we will do likewise - towards mutual benefit.
7. Environment
Our goal Is to achieve best practice environmentally aware supply chain management.
Your role Demonstrate sound environmental practice and not to act in a way that is detrimental to the operations or reputation of Aimia Foods. Show awareness of own environmental impact and to implement an environmental policy through appropriate management systems.
